What is the difference between thermolysis, galvanic, and blend electrolysis?
These are the three modalities used in electrolysis. Thermolysis uses heat, galvanic uses a chemical reaction, and blend combines both. The most effective method depends on your hair type, texture, and skin. We select the right approach for you during your consultation.
I have PCOS and have tried laser without good results. Can electrolysis help?
Yes — electrolysis is especially effective for PCOS-related hair growth because it works on any hair color and any skin tone, and it's permanent. Laser can't treat light, fine, or hormonally-driven hair reliably.
What areas of the face and body do you treat?
We treat upper lip, chin, sideburns, neck, eyebrows, hairline, underarms, arms, legs, bikini line, chest, back, and more. During your consultation we'll build a personalized treatment plan.
Why doesn't laser work for everyone?
Laser targets the pigment in the hair shaft, so it cannot treat light, blonde, grey, white, or red hair. It is also less reliable for hormonally-driven hair, which can regrow over time.
